For added convenience, this product has casters to make transport easier. There are also hooks on the back of the expedient to wrap the power cord nearby when the shredder isn't being used. As is typical with Fellowes products, the Ps-79Ci is covered by two great warranties. The first is a 2-year warranty on products and services. Plus there's lifetime protection for the machine's cutting head.
Cons:

The Ps-79Ci lacks a continuous-duty motor. It can shred for up to 12 minutes before needing a rather lengthy cooling off time of 20 minutes. Pros:

We wouldn't necessarily expect one of Fellowes' smaller machines to come adequate with its top of the line jam proof system, but it does. With this system, when you insert paper, the shredder electronically measures the thickness, and the shredder won't run if the stack is more than the blades can handle. This is denoted by a handy red light/green light system. We tried it, and it worked fine. It also powered through some papers that we intentionally misfed into the shredder. We were pretty impressed by the power of such a small machine. Another thing to reconsider when you are going to have a few shredders spread nearby the office is the level of noise that the midpoint shredder makes. We found the Ps-79Ci to be remarkably quiet while operation, and we reconsider this a huge plus. We were also impressed that one of Fellowes smaller machines has some of the manufacturers best features. The Ps-79Ci comes with their patented SafeSense technology, which detects body heat and stops the machines motors on the spot. We tried it, it worked. This highlight can protect fingers, hands and even pets from getting dangerously close to the shredding heads when the engine is running. We also idea that the bin was well-designed, and pretty big for the tiny space it was allowed. The Ps-79Ci beyond doubt shreds Cds, staples, and paperclips.

Cons:

This is not so much a "con" as a "limitation," but the Ps-79Ci is only designed to operate for ten to twelve minutes at a time before it will wish twenty minutes off. This is not terribly unusual for a shredder of this size, but it is a very important thing to be aware of before you start using it. This highlight protects the shredder from overheating and damaging the motor. The Ps-79Ci does not come with some of the features of its big brothers, such as a protection lock to manually stop engine use, nor does it have a sheet capacity selector. The engine accepts paper from the top rather than the front, but one could argue for either formula being the first-rate way of feeding paper.

As far as small, one-person, desk side use shredders go, we would have to put the Ps-79Ci at or near the top of the heap. We're not sure we've seen someone else one that has so many features in such a small package. If you need a small shredder for your office or home, this is assuredly one to consider.

Something to be aware of is that the Sb-89Ci is designed to be used for only twenty minutes at a stretch before it will need a forty little rest period. This is pretty typical for a smaller shredder though, and shouldn't be a qoute for a deskside unit, if the user shreds documents just a few at a time. The throat width of nine inches means you will have to fold some larger documents over before they will fit into the feed. With a capacity of a respectable fifteen sheets at a time, though, this shouldn't be a qoute if you do it within reason. Again, typical for a smaller shredder, you will have to oil the Sb-89Ci yourself.
Recommendation:

The Sb-89Ci is a great, feature-rich deskside shredder, and one you should take a serious look at. With its capability to cut ageement discs, staples, and paperclips, this is a lot of shredder for the money.
